Books: Music theory, music history, composer books etc. lol. Not so much into actual literature now, though I did English at college. I thought it was my main interest, until I discovered music...
Movies: I'm Alan Partridge, Peep Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Bottom, Family Guy, Red Dwarf.
Music: Very hard to pick a 'favourite'! Beethoven, Vivaldi and Mozart are generally up there at the top, but I couldn't possibly subsist on their music alone - others include Bach, Haydn, Handel, Corelli, Mendelssohn, Chopin, Boccherini, Schubert, Elgar, Wagner etc. All the famous ones hehe. I like the 'symphonies' of Boyce too, and other less known things. I also like Irish fiddle music and a little rock.
Hobbies: Classical music, birdwatching, drawing, painting, writing music, being with friends
(A pre-P.S. - remember to add &fmt=18 onto the end of a video's URL to get better quality sound and picture).I'm an English 19 year-old violinist with a massive passion for classical music. I'm not a computer-nerd mass-downloader or anything, but I do believe that as a great and enriching art, classical music should be a lot more free and exposed, especially as interest in it seems to be increasingly a minority thing, and as a lover of classical music for all that it brings me (which is a lot), this is a horrible experience! Therefore my main aim nowadays is to gradually put a lot of my music on here, in videos of high audio/visual quality and design. My project some time ago was Vivaldi's 'The Four Seasons' (as if there aren't enough versions on here already!) and I do intend to finish this at some point, if only I stopped discovering more and more amazing music! I love the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods equally, and so you can expect stuff from these periods in future too. However, Baroque has a very particular and refreshing charm and so I'm sure there's plenty of that to come still. I have the complete works of Beethoven and Mozart, and any requests from these, perhaps rarities etc., I would be glad to post. Thanks for visiting, work with me to keep classical alive and make it grow!PS. I've only been playing the violin for 3 years, don't expect miracles!Videos (59)
